Touchwood PR created a memorable reception and screening for the highly anticipated Netflix holiday film Let It Snow. Our team drove awareness and engagement through the use of strategic partnerships and social media influencers.
To create awareness and word of mouth for the film among its key demographic, TWPR worked closely with Toronto-based influencers Torri Webster and Jaclyn Forbes to host the reception and screening for Netflix's Let It Snow. Our goal was to create an exclusive, cozy, and intimate atmosphere that would translate well to social media content, so the event was capped at 42 guests. The attendees were a mix of other influencers and contest winners (both Jaclyn and Torri hosted contests on the social media pages).
Despite the fact that the event was hosted in early November, the hot chocolate station and cozy vignettes set up throughout the event space created a warm, holiday atmosphere and led to influencers creating the perfect shareable content. The event was a huge hit with attendees and generated significant excitement surrounding the film, leading to over 115 Instagram posts from the 40 guests.
