KYLE MACLACHLAN JOINS MARIA BELLO AND JOSH WIGGINS IN GLO, A FILM BY DIRECTOR KEITH BEHRMAN
Allison Black of euclid431 pictures announced today that Golden Globe winner and Emmy® Award nominee Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet) has joined Golden Globe nominee Maria Bello (A History of Violence, The Cooler) and Josh Wiggins (Mean Dreams, Walking Out, Hellion) in the new young adult drama GLO. Written and directed by award-winning filmmaker Keith Behrman (Flower & Garnet), the film is currently shooting in and around Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada and will continue through August 2017. Darren Mann (Let the Right One In, Hello Destroyer), Taylor Hickson (Aftermath, Deadpool, andEverything, Everything) and Peter Outerbridge (Orphan Black) round out the cast.
GLO, also known as The Giant Little Ones, is a young adult drama following the lives of two popular teenage boys and best friends since childhood, whose lives and families are surprisingly upended after an unexpected incident occurs on the night of a 17th birthday party.
GLO reunites the award-winning creative team from Mean Dreams (Cannes Film Festival's Directors' Fortnight selection and TIFF Special Presentation) including Producer Allison Black, Casting Directors Angela Demo and Robin D. Cook, Editor Sandy Pereira, Production Designer Zosia Mackenzie, and Costume Designer Marissa Schwartz. Award-winning cinematographer Guy Godfree (Maudie) joins as Director of Photography.
Allison Black will produce the film. Executive Producers are Maria Bello, Patrice Theroux, Storyboard Entertainment’s Richard Blumenstein, Jason Potash and Paul Finkel, euclid431’s Nathan Morlando, Mongrel Media’s Hussain Amarshi, Daniel Bekerman, and Mark Gingras and John Laing of Urban Post. Susan Wrubel and Tom Spriggs will co-executive produce.
UTA will handle US sales. Mongrel Media will distribute the film in Canada and will handle international sales.
Maria Bello, Kyle MacLachlan and Josh Wiggins are represented by UTA. MacLachlan is managed by Management 360 and Wiggins by Loch Powell of Power Entertainment Group.
