Beginning July 28, 2018, Cineplex Events invites audiences to experience the thrill of André Rieu’s latest Maastricht concert, Amore: My Tribute to Love, captured live from the Dutch musician’s hometown in the Netherlands.
 
One of the most popular live acts in the world, Rieu continues to entertain audiences after more than 30 years of performing. Screening in over 2000 cinemas worldwide, this highly anticipated presentation gives classical music fans an all-access, behind-the-scenes pass that includes exclusive interviews with Rieu and other special guests, all on the big screen. The cinematic release of Rieu’s celebrated annual Maastricht concert provides audiences with an unforgettable viewing experience that, in previous years, has set several box office records.
 
Rieu’s 2018 Maastricht concert, Amore: My Tribute to Love, gives fans a front row seat as he delivers a revered, passion-fuelled orchestral performance. The theme of the concert pays homage to the maestro’s love and adoration for music and for both of his families: his wife and kids and, of course, the 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra that accompanies him.

The extravagant, medieval backdrop of the Maastricht town square sets the stage for the unforgettable concert event and audiences are treated to a spectacular performance filled with laughs, love and fun that’s enjoyable for all ages. As the show concludes, host Charlotte Hawkins conducts an interview with Rieu the moment he steps off stage, exclusively for cinema audiences.
