Culminating with the creation and showcase of Les Demoiselles d’Avignon 1907, director Phil Grabsky covers Picasso’s childhood in Málagá to the acquisition of his craft in Barcelona. Focusing on the young Spaniard’s blossoming artistry in his Blue Period and Pink Period in early adulthood while in Paris, Young Picasso provides in-depth and intricate examinations of Picasso’s most admired works.
