Leading U.S. distributor of award-winning independent films has recently expanded and introduced VOD service IFC Films Unlimited, now available in Canada on Amazon Prime Video Channels and Apple TV


Toronto, ON - September 1, 2020 - This fall, leading U.S. distributor IFC FILMS celebrates two decades of producing, distributing, showcasing, and celebrating groundbreaking independent and foreign films. IFC Films has been instrumental in the careers of contemporary auteurs and visionaries as well as innovating the theatrical distribution model. In the fall of 2019, the company expanded its offerings to include the introduction of IFC Films Unlimited, a subscription video on demand streaming channel featuring theatrically released films from its distribution labels IFC Films, Sundance Selects, and IFC Midnight. Now available in Canada via Amazon Prime Video Channels and Apple TV app, the channel currently features 175+ films with titles being added monthly. For Canadian subscribers, the channel will feature many new releases directly following the U.S. theatrical window.

TIFF19 premieres The Other Lamb (dir. Malgorzata Szumowska, starring Raffey Cassidy, Michiel Huisman, Denise Gough) and True History of the Kelly Gang (dir. Justin Kurzel, starring George MacKay, Russell Crowe, Nicholas Hoult, Essie Davis, Charlie Hunnam) will be available on the channel October 7 and November 4, respectively.

The Cured (2018)

Starring: Ellen Page, Sam Keeley, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, Stuart Graham

Synopsis: A disease that turned people into zombies has been cured. The once-infected zombies are discriminated against by society and their own families, which causes social issues to arise. This leads to militant government interference.
